According to Reuters, a total of 105,322 Ford Expedition and Lincoln Navigator vehicles from model years 2018 through 2020 are being recalled due to faulty seat belt pretensioners.

The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration says that the seat belt pretensioners for drivers and/or front passengers may randomly lock, preventing them from retracting or extending.
Seat belt pretensioners are required by law to be shipped as Class 9 Hazardous Materials. Anyone shipping these or other HAZMATS (including warranty returns) must be certified, by law.
